So, let me tell you... you haven't lived until you've had dinner with 4 Yugos.
Cars, you ask? No, Yugoslavians. I've been out with a Yugoslavian guy a few times and last night he invited me to an impromptu dinner with 3 of his "Yugo" friends.
Man, did they have fun with the American Girl. Actually, they were delightful men(and all ridiculously
H O T in their own way) however, my friend did play a little prank on me. When he was introducing each of them he would tell me their name and then their 'nickname' and Lena, being the cultured (hehe) girl she is would pronounce it after him. Well, as it turns out, I was calling his friends various private body parts.
Nice, eh?
They all laughed their asses off and actually, it was pretty funny. They were very sweet to let me join their fun so I had to at least let them torture the minority at the table for a few minutes.
It is definitely interesting to go out with someone so very culturally different. Even though my family was lucky enough to experience living in Europe it's still different to grow up somewhere and then move to the US when you are 27 and then try to fit in with average Americans. I can't imagine.
